Origin Story

At the intersection of hard work and creativity, Konstellation was born. The brainchild of Kayla, a seasoned Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, our journey is one rooted in both passion and purpose. Growing up, Kayla always dreamt of becoming a fashion designer. But as a young girl with a natural inclination for problem-solving and innovation, she also found herself drawn to the world of engineering. After just four years of honing her skills in the trades, she realized there was something missing—something that could bridge the gap between her two passions: workwear that was as functional as it was feminine.

As she worked alongside male colleagues, Kayla noticed a glaring issue: the lack of quality, stylish, and comfortable workwear for women in the trades. While there was no shortage of durable clothing options, they were all designed for men, leaving women with limited choices and feeling disconnected from their work attire. There were no options that made women feel confident, powerful, and comfortable—qualities every worker deserves, no matter their gender.

With a heart full of purpose, Kayla decided to tackle this problem head-on. Drawing from her experience in both the trades and fashion design, she set out to create a line of workwear that not only meets the rigorous demands of the job but also celebrates femininity and style. Her vision was clear: to inspire women in the trades to embrace their uniqueness and to show young girls everywhere that the trades are a space where they can thrive—while still staying true to their personal style.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to create high-quality, functional, and stylish workwear for women who are ready to conquer the trades with confidence. We believe that every woman deserves to feel empowered and equipped for success, whether she’s swinging a hammer, wiring up a circuit, or solving complex mechanical problems. Our designs are crafted with the modern tradeswoman in mind, combining the durability and safety standards required by the industry with a touch of femininity, comfort, and flair.

We’re more than just a workwear brand—we’re a movement. A movement to inspire the next generation of young girls to break boundaries, defy stereotypes, and embrace careers in the trades, knowing that they can be strong, capable, and, yes, girly too.
